Online support around your family’s routine
Families in Cary, Apex, Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina and the wider Wake County area can use our online tutoring service. Our tutors are certified in special education. The match should also reflect your child’s current academic needs, the educator’s relevant experience and the practical demands of a session.
If you are comparing a nearby tutor with online lessons, consider what your child needs to participate comfortably. A shorter journey is useful only if the teaching format works for them. We do not operate a Wake County office or offer an in-person appointment through this site.
A session-planning checklist
- Choose the learning task. Describe one reading or math task your child needs help with. Use a recent example instead of a broad goal such as “do better at school.”
- Consider the setting. Identify where your child could hear, see the lesson and work with the required materials. Ask what technology and adult setup help the session needs.
- Describe useful supports. Tell the educator what helps your child start, ask a question or return to a task. Discuss any difficulty with screens or transitions.
- Confirm the arrangement. Ask about the proposed educator, actual availability, session length, current fees and how progress updates work. A requested time is not confirmed until our team agrees it with you.

Can you guarantee an after-school opening?
Availability must be confirmed for the proposed educator. Tell us your preferred times during the consultation; we do not promise an opening before checking the match.
