Special education tutoring in Concord and Cabarrus County

Special Ed Resource offers one-on-one online tutoring for families in Concord, Harrisburg and the wider Cabarrus area. Discuss reading, math and academic support for your child’s learning needs.

Find the right resource for the question

A family comparing tutoring may also have questions about a school plan, current classroom supports or a district resource. Those questions belong with different people. Knowing which school system serves your child helps you find the right official information.

Cabarrus and Kannapolis district resources

These are different school systems. Confirm your child’s school and responsible district; a nearby city or county name is not enough to determine which resource applies. If your child attends a charter, private or other school, ask that school for its relevant contacts.

The links are offered to help families reach official sources. They do not imply a partnership, endorsement or that SER manages school services.

A simple question-routing guide

  • A question about a classroom assignment: Ask the classroom teacher to clarify its purpose or directions. You can then explain the academic task to a tutor.
  • A question about school services or a school plan: Contact the relevant school team or district resource above.
  • A question about individualized tutoring: Ask us about educator experience, instruction, online sessions and current availability.
  • A question about ESA+ requirements: Use the NCSEAA contacts on our provider information page.

Discuss a specific academic goal

Bring an example of the reading or math work your child finds difficult. Our reading page helps distinguish word-reading and comprehension questions. Our math page considers concepts, language and multi-step work. For a student with dyslexia or ADHD, ask about the proposed educator’s experience with those academic needs.

Our tutors are certified in special education. Ask how the educator would identify a starting skill, check understanding and communicate progress. Before starting, confirm the match, availability, fees and practical arrangements.

Online tutoring for local families

Sessions are online; we do not operate a Concord, Harrisburg or Kannapolis tutoring office. Discuss your child’s comfort with online learning and what help may be needed to set up a session. Our how tutoring works page explains the next steps.

Common questions

Are Cabarrus County Schools and Kannapolis City Schools the same district?

No. They have separate official resource pages. Confirm your child’s school system before using district-specific information.

Does SER work for or represent these school districts?

No district affiliation or endorsement is claimed here. The links help families reach independent official resources; our service is private online academic tutoring.
